Indigenous Peoples’ Day

A global collaborative campaign celebrating Indigenous women as stewards of biodiversity worldwide and prompting action amongst an engaged global audience.

Launched on International Indigenous People’s Day, art activations launched in cities including  Seattle (USA), Washington, D.C. (USA), New York City (USA), São Paulo (Brazil), and London (UK). The icons featured include Sônia Guajajara, Nara Baré, Célia Xakriabá, Vicky Tauli-Corpuz, Pania Newton, Marjorie Kunaq Tahbone, Gunn-Britt Retter, Deb Abrahamson and Twa-le Abrahamson-Swan.
